WHAT A PROVOCATIVE time we live in. I’m recently back from the giant family reunion that was the Presidential inauguration; we’ve just entered the Year of the Ox in the Chinese zodiac, a time of hard work. And though it’s sometimes hard to see it, hope and dreams coming true––that’s what the inauguration was about, and that’s what this month’s column of February horoscopes is about, too. It’s as if our collective theme song for this year is Michael Buble’s version of Dream. Here are the specifics, sign by sign:
ARIES (March 21-April 20) The help you need is on the way—the opportunity for the clarity and freedom of movement you want will soon present itself to you. Be open to it coming from the most unlikely source and in an unexpected manner.
TAURUS (April 21-May 20) For the next few weeks, your mantra begins with this line: “If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs…” Although this is a time of tension and you are likely to feel stressed, remember that this is not a time for speculation. Do stay grounded and let the facts guide you. You’ll be glad you did.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) A change of perspective will reveal the circumstances you’ve been looking for. Once the circumstances have been revealed to you, focusing on what’s needed, committing to the action required and then taking that action will bring about the changes you’ve been hoping for.
CANCER (June 21-July 20) “The more things change, the more they stay the same.” Not this time, though. You are on a new path of self-discovery. Do let your intuition (and not your pride) be your guide. Many people are waiting in the wings and will step forward to help you if you just ask.
LEO (July 21-August 22) Do you ever feel that you could use a “pause” and “rewind” button in your life? Well, for the next few weeks you’ll almost have that kind of power. Keep your options open and don’t make any binding decisions. That way, when circumstances change dramatically (and they will), you’ll be able to take full advantage of the new opportunities.
VIRGO (August 23-September 22) A rare opportunity is coming your way. Your instructions are as follows: Remember that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. What does that mean? That you need to keep both feet on the ground and be practical as you go about blending the best of your old and new circumstances.
LIBRA (September 23-October 22) Your perspective and your needs have changed for the better. It’s time to re-evaluate yourself and your goals before you make any decisions or take any actions. As you become clearer about your new direction and the “new you,” you’ll begin to reap those big rewards more easily.
SCORPIO (October 23-November 21) As you roll up your sleeves for the next round of challenges headed your way, remember that you aren’t alone. Somebody “up there” likes you and is ready to help you if you’ll just call on and confer with Them.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22-December 21) The events of the next few weeks will give you an opportunity to see what you’re really committed to. To keep things moving smoothly, you’ll need to make several important decisions. Be sure to choose with your head and not with your heart.
CAPRICORN (December 22-January 19) You’re used to traveling with a map and a compass. Those very dependable tools won’t help you now. You’re being challenged to make your moves while relying solely on the oldest navigational devices known to humans– the heart and the intuition. They won’t let you down and you’ll love the results!
AQUARIUS (January 20-February 19) You’re in a very good position. For the next 12 months, extreme good fortune is your ally. Your wants and wishes are going to be granted, so please do ask for what you want and please don’t apologize for wanting it. Enjoy!
PISCES (February 20-March 20) You’re standing at a crossroads in your life. Now is the time to listen to your inner voice and follow your intuition. The changes you long for will come soon. When they do, you need to remember to keep your feet firmly on the ground as you deal with the sudden, unexpected occurrences that will bring victory closer to you.
