As a family friend, I have seen this photo in their home. Not only does Elizabeth resemble her mother, Nancy, seen in this photo, but Elizabeth’s 12-year-old daughter bears that resemblance, too.
Hi Marty, family resemblance is a funny thing. I love the way it marks our connection to people that we may have never met–whom we may only know in photos.
I was in a home here in Managua yesterday doing an interview for a project and it was amazing how similar the mother and daughter looked in photos from when they were around 20. If you put them together they´d definitely be twins, and their outfits almost matched.
