When I wrote to Cristin to ask about this image, she replied, “This moment the photo was snapped though, the three of us had been floating and talking and sharing little secrets while the sun was setting; about life and worries and love and mistakes.” How lovely. I love this photo! Though it’s a slightly different scenario, Cristin’s explanation reminds me of last week when I was catching up with my “boys” as the three of us sat floating in the middle of a lake (in kayaks) talking about the same things.
