no no no no no

I took my daughter and her friend to see the movie last night. They were utterly appalled.

The ending was totally and utterly changed, they told me. They wanted to scream at the screen and had to hold themselves back.

why why why why why

I think this may be Hollywood thinking it must placate a mass audience, at its worst. How stupid do they think they are.

Pardon my rant. I did not red the book, but the girls — 14 year olds — told me all about it. They were appalled. I am appalled.
