Hi, Linda.
That's hilarious. Thank you.
I, too, got poked in the side as I laughed at your reply.
Sigh.
Best,
Marion

"Last week was stacking up to be no different."

That made me laugh! But then those darn underwires poked a stitch in my side.

I've been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be much more useful than ever... Shalanda Haufler

Hi, Terri, and welcome to TSP, where we love our bra rants. Sitting here trying to get comfy in the bra I'm in makes me itchy to write another rant, as does your wonderful comment. Read up, sisters, and consider a road trip to Whistler, British Columbia. Please come back soon, Terri.

I just love this post on bra hunting- If you ever get to Whistler, British Columbia (where the 2010 Winter Olympics were) drop into a store called Inside Out. Here reside (who we affectionately call) The Bra Natzis! And we all adore them these two middle aged sisters who offer stylish bras in every size- they are superb "fitters" down to their finger tips. Because of their amazing skills I alsways buy at least three different bras at a time. I remember at my first visit shyly stating that I was a 38 B. The Bra Natzis looked at each other and simultaneously chortled that I was a 36B, maybe. They were right and I would trust them with my shopping life now based on their no nonsense approach and expertise despite age, post surgical condition or attitude of each customer. By the way, I had a trusty bra that was so comfortable, like you, but was never replaced, my husband having declared that it must have been fashioned somewhere in the former Soviet Union, probably Siberia!!

Hi, Jackie:
And welcome to TSP, where we are glad to meet you, and glad to have you here to share in a good bra rant. We do rant on our bras, yes we do. Make sure you read all the bra rants, since there are many, including a new one posted only yesterday. And do come back for more.

I thought bra shopping was the most difficult thing in the world, that is until I decided to breastfeed. Finding a nursing bra that fits and is comfortable may just top that!
Being the mom of two little girls, reading this made me realize what I have to look forward to in the future.

Hello, Natalie. And welcome to TSP, where we are all laughing at your wondrous discovery of yes, just who it is, who designs bras. Of course! Comic book illustrators. How did we not know this? Though I think you raise another good point--that the Motrin people may be in cahoots, as well. And then, of course, your final question is, indeed, the ultimate kicker. Why is that? And why do men walk around with their shirts off while we stifle in this summer heat in those bras through which no suggestion of anything but smooth, round perfection can be detected? Ah, Natalie, you are our kind of sister. Please come back soon.

I'm small breasted woman with bra rants of my own. I've always wondered if bras were designed by comic book illustrators. It's that or a time traveler from the period of the Spanish Inquisition.

I've worn a wide variety of bras over the years. I've noticed more now than in years past, that each bra style seems to have a sizing scale unique to that design.

Add into my equation a lumpectomy and radiation treatments and everything goes out the window. Even four years after treatment my skin is sensitive, not fond of compression and lack of air flow. I've worn camisoles, gone without and sometimes wear cotton shelf bras from Hanro.

I've tried a wide variety of styles from Victoria's Secret and others. All they make me want to do is wallow in a dose of extra strength Motrin.

How come it's not okay to see the indentations of your nipples, but it's okay to see half your bottom hanging out above a thong and a pair of low slung jeans?
