WE’RE ONE YEAR OLD AT TSP, and since the traditional gift for a first anniversary is paper, I thought I’d make a list of the She Said, She Said highlights that are simply too good not to mention.
There’s the fact that we knit, of course, or at least that I knit and my sister doesn’t, forcing me to go find knitting sisters, and there you were, clicking and purling right along with me this year.
There’s the love we share of Teaching John to Cook. If you haven’t caught up with that aspect of She Said, please do, and start sharing those Christmas and New Year’s recipes soon, so John can continue to roll out the season in style.
It seems that the sisterhood loves a list, from those please don’ts of the sisterhood, to those 25 Random Facts, to the 15 Rules for Girls to Live By, to that utterly unforgettable list that helps with loss. We list, therefore we are sisters. I think that is how it goes.
And then there is our great love for writing about our lives. Ah, memoir writing, that marvelous art we practice here, reading about one another and finding that lovely common ground in between.
Missed any of this? Oh no! Please don’t let another word pass you by. Sign up for our weekly newsletter here, and never again be late for a list, a knitting pattern, a slow-cook recipe, a good sisterly spat, a fiction recommendation, a good read about an American murderess/sister, the genetics of siblings or, of course, a good bra rant.
Ah, a bra rant. Here’s to many, many more in our next year together.
