LOOK WHO WE FOUND the other day on our lawn. We named her Margaret.

That’s really charming, Marion. Thank you for thinking of me when a *snapping* turtle walks into your yard, one that everybody’s afraid to go near. :)
Oh, sister-of-mine. That’s not why we named her Margaret. We named her Margaret because we think she’s the most beautiful creature we’ve ever seen. And then there’s her tough shell.
Ok, ladies, don’t know if that was all scripted or just off the top of your lovely heads, but if THAT’s not the best She said, She said” example of sisters’ views of one another, and sisters’ views of the other sister’s views, then I don’t know what would be…
Who knew a turtle could be so thought provoking!
Agreed, this is an entertaining ‘she said, she said’ exchange and example of how wide our perspectives can vary.
And yes, Margaret the snapping turtle is gorgeous.
I think she is very sexy. You guys are great.
Hey, Jean L. So glad you like this exchange. No, we do not script them. Quite the opposite. We have an agreement that I’ll simply write what’s on my mind and she’ll read it cold, like evey other reader. We’re really trying to explore the She Said, She Said along with you. Thanks. I’m so glad you like it.
Hello, Keith. So kind of you to point out the perspective angle we’re trying to corner. I think the turtle is one of the most beautiful creatures I’ve ever seen. We had her in the yard for two hours before we were able to safely move her (with good, professional help) to a nearby pond. She clearly wanted to lay her eggs. We’re glad we were there to help get her to safety, especially since it was our dog who first discovered her, raising quite a ruckus and alerting me to her predicament. this wet spring has brought out all manners of unusual fauna in my yard; the week before I had a star nosed mole, usually a pond/swap dweller. So glad I was right nearby to rescue our turtle. So glad to have the camera nearby.
Yes, Susan. She is sexy, isn’t she? So true. Thanks.
