IT’S JELL-O WEEK here at TSP. Since both Valentine’s Day and Chinese New Year are here, and both celebrate everything red and gooey and fun, we are viewing the world through rose-colored Jell-O molds. Doing so, we came upon what can only be called wacky Jell-O miscellany. And since it’s only sisterly to share, we’re sharing. Here you go. Did you know, for example, that…

Now you do. Still have room for more Jell-O?

Sister Paige helps us celebrate with what she calls “My Jiggly Valentine,” a look at ladies auxiliary recipes for the stuff, in which we learn who really invented the Jell-O shot and more.

Sister Marion (that’s me) has a Jello-O story, too, and it involves in-laws. Oh, yeah.

I have not thought of Jell-o for years, it was a staple with my mom, we had these copper molds that always hung on the kitchen wall. She made Jell-o with bananas all the time. They would float on the top and go brown. (I guess not the best memory)
Not until I went to England, did I find Jellies, cubes that were used to make Jell-o, but you could eat right out of the box. Loved them.
